History
Tunisia issued a 60 millime commemorative on 30 July 1973 for the 2nd Pan-Arab Rover rally. Amor Ben Mahmoud designed the stamp; it is signed AMOR BEN MAHMOUD. De La Rue printed it by offset lithography, comb perforated 13 × 13½, about 46 × 32 mm.
A stylized blue figure sits at the wheel of a white crescent-shaped car, one arm raised in the three-finger Scout salute, with a yellow-orange fleur-de-lis behind. The stamp is inscribed RALLYE ROUTIER PANARABE, REPUBLIQUE TUNISIENNE, Arabic naming the 2nd Pan-Arab Rover Moot, and 60.
