History
Malaysia issued two commemoratives on 26 July 1978 for the fourth Malaysian Scout jamboree, held in Sarawak. Aini bin Abdul Rahman designed the set; Queen's Advertising Company prepared the finished artwork. John Waddington Security Print lithographed the stamps, 36 × 26 mm, comb perforated 13½. They were withdrawn from sale on 26 January 1979.
The 15 sen, on white, shows the jamboree badge in a red hexagon: a red fleur-de-lis with the Malaysian crescent and fourteen-pointed star, inside a blue ring of Dayak-style ornament, lettered JAMBORI MALAYSIA KE EMPAT and SARAWAK 1978. The country name is set malaysia in lower case.
The 1 ringgit, on blue, shows a green disc with a honeycomb and bees, lettered JAMBORI MALAYSIA KEEMPAT SARAWAK 1978, and a small hexagonal Malaysian Scout badge at upper right. The country name is Malaysia.
