History
Indonesia issued three commemoratives on 22 February 1981 for the National Scout Jamboree and the 6th Asia-Pacific Scout Jamboree, held at Cibubur–Cibodas. Each stamp is lettered REPUBLIK INDONESIA, JAMBORE NASIONAL 1981 CIBUBUR-CIBODAS and 6th ASIA PACIFIC JAMBOREE (the 200 rupiah reads SIXTH).
Tony Gany designed the 75 and 200 rupiah; Chairin H. Joeda designed the 100 rupiah. The set was printed by photogravure, in panes of 50, 1,750,000 of each value, without watermark. The 75 and 200 rupiah are landscape, 42 × 25 mm, perforated 13½ × 12½; the 100 rupiah is upright, 25 × 42 mm, perforated 12½ × 13½. The printer is not established.
The 75 rupiah, on a magenta ground, shows a dark arch with the Guide trefoil and Scout fleur-de-lis. The 100 rupiah shows a Scout standing with a staff and another seated with a bag, beside the same emblems. The 200 rupiah, on a green ground, shows a large J-shaped jamboree device, three ridge tents, and the two emblems.
