The issuing authority
Eritrea issued its first postage stamps in 1903. They are produced by the national postal administration. The capital is Asmara. Current issues are denominated in nakfa.
Scouting
WOSM does not list a full member organisation for Eritrea. Local groups operate under National Scout Association of Eritrea. Scouting has been present at various times, often as a potential member rather than a recognised NSO.
