Series history
A colour print, 325 × 167 mm, dated to 1949, shows two Scouts at a camp flag ceremony. One stands at the three-finger salute; the other sounds a bugle. Between them a tall pole flies a red flag with a gold floral emblem. White tents, a path and trees fill the ground behind, under a yellow-orange sky. A geometric border of green, brown and white triangles frames the scene, with a red panel at the top and another at the foot.
The sheet carries no face value, no country name and no year on the face. Sources name no designer or printer. 1949 was the last year of organised Scouting on the Chinese mainland.
