Series history

Denmark issued a semi-postal at Copenhagen on 25 October 1960 for Queen Ingrid's twenty-fifth anniversary as a Girl Guide. The postage is 30 øre with a 10 øre surtax for the Guides' fund and for needy children.

Viggo Bang designed and Birger Ekholm engraved the stamp: Queen Ingrid in Guide uniform, facing left within an oval under the royal crown, with PIGESPEJDERNE and DANMARK at the foot between the World Association trefoil and the Danish Guide badge. The printing is brown-red recess.

The Department of Posts & Telegraph printed 2,020,400 copies in panes of fifty, perforated 13.
