History
Saudi Arabia issued three commemoratives on 23 December 1974 for the sixth Islamic Rover Moot in Mecca. The Department of Posts designed them; the Government Security Press lithographed them, comb perforated 14, on paper watermarked with crossed swords, a palm tree and an Arabic inscription, in panes of fifty. Sources give no place of issue and no quantities.
The three values share one design, lettered 6th ISLAMIC ROVER MOOT MECCA, with a yellow fleur-de-lis that holds the Kaaba, red stars on the side petals, two minarets, a green wreath, a handshake, 1394 H, المملكة العربية السعودية and K.S.A. The 4 p has olive-brown minarets; the 6 p grey-blue; the 10 p purple. A faint tented camp fills the background.
