History
Nepal issued a single commemorative on 7 November 1977 for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Boy Scouts of Nepal. The stamp is landscape, 33 × 24 mm, inscribed नेपाल and NEPAL, with SCOUTS set vertically at the right and the years 1952–1977 along the foot. Face value appears as रु. ३.५० at left and R. 3.50 at right.
K. K. Karmacharya designed the stamp. The Pakistan Security Printing Company printed it by offset lithography, comb perforated 13½ × 13, in panes of 50. The quantity is 500,000.
A gold Nepal Scout emblem — fleur-de-lis with a green centre and red star — sits on a white sunburst over a map of Nepal. A crown stands above the map at the right.
