Notes
Four Scouts before a map of Trinidad and Tobago with Queen Elizabeth II
Series history
Trinidad and Tobago issued two commemoratives on 4 April 1961 for the 2nd Caribbean Boy Scout Jamboree, held from 4 to 14 April 1961. Part of the proceeds went to the Boy Scouts of Trinidad and Tobago; the stamps were withdrawn from sale on 3 July 1961.
Both values share one design, taken from photographs of Scouts of various ethnicities: four Scouts before a map of the islands, Queen Elizabeth II in an oval at upper left, and a wolf badge on a striped ribbon below her. The frame reads Second Caribbean Jamboree · 4th–14th APRIL 1961 · TRINIDAD & TOBAGO. The 8 cents is in green and the 25 cents in blue.
Harrison & Sons printed the set by photogravure in panes of fifty on paper watermarked St. Edward's Crown and CA multiple, perforated 13½ × 14½.
