Series history
Davaar Island issued local cinderella labels for the diamond jubilee of Hong Kong Scouting, dated 23 July 1971. The design is a portrait of Baden-Powell in campaign hat beside a Boy Scouts fleur-de-lis, inscribed LORD BADEN POWELL U.K. 1857-1941, DAVAAR ISLAND and Diamond Jubilee Hong Kong Scouts 1971. The 5 p and 15 p exist in green, comb 14, and the 5 p also in dark blue, imperforate. Later printings in magenta add Post Office Scouts Stamps Exhibition – April 1973; one 5 p substitutes SCOUT JAMBOREE JAPAN 1971 for the Hong Kong line. They are local labels, not a Post Office issue.
