Series history
Manama issued twenty stamps on 14 May 1971 for the 13th World Scout Jamboree at Asagiri Heights, Japan. Each ordinary value shows a uniformed Scout of a Middle or Far Eastern association with that association's emblem; the four airmails show Scouts of Canada, the Philippines, the United States and Japan. Lithography, comb perforated 14½. 20,000 perforated sets and 4,000 imperforate. Deluxe sheets with simulated perforations place a single stamp on a blue margin inscribed 3 riyals. A 10 riyal airmail souvenir sheet shows Mount Fuji. Postal standing is unsettled.
