Series history
Niger issued four commemoratives on 5 July 1971 for the 13th World Scout Jamboree in Japan: 35 francs emblem and Mount Fuji, 40 francs Scouts and flags, 45 francs signposting, and 50 francs a camp-site. Jacques Gauthier designed the set; the French Stamp Printing Office engraved it, comb perforated 13. The stamps were withdrawn from sale on 31 July 1973. An imperforate deluxe sheet of each value, marked Imprimerie des Timbres-Poste — France, is also known.
