Series history
Davaar Island issued local cinderella labels in 1975 with a black overprint JAMBOREE NORWAY 1975. They have no postal validity. The underlying design is a grid of national flags prepared for the International Scout Camp at Blair Castle, Perthshire, in 1972, lettered DAVAAR ISLAND. The 5 p panel carries INTERNATIONAL SCOUT CAMP 1972 in blue; the 20 p panel carries BLAIR CASTLE PERTHSHIRE SCOTLAND in magenta. Offset lithography, rouletted. The overprint reads across the two values when they stand side by side.
