Series history

Gibraltar issued three triangular commemoratives on 10 October 1975 for the fiftieth anniversary of Girl Guides on the Rock. A. G. Ryman designed the set. Harrison & Sons printed it by offset lithography, 44.3 × 33.5 mm, line perforated 13½, on paper watermarked with a multiple St Edward's Crown and CA, upright. The panes were of twenty-five stamps printed tête-bêche.

Each value carries the same layout: the Girl Guides trefoil badge at the centre, the royal cypher E II R under a crown at the apex, 50th. ANNIVERSARY along the left edge, of the GIRL GUIDES along the right, GIBRALTAR along the base, and the face value at lower right. The 5 p is dull violet with a light-blue and gold badge; the 7 p is red-brown with a gold badge; the 15 p is orange-brown with a silver badge.
