Series history

Grenada issued seven commemoratives and a souvenir sheet on 2 July 1975 for the 14th World Scout Jamboree, Nordjamb 75, in Norway. John Waddington Studios designed them (the initials J. W. appear on the issue); Format International Security Printers lithographed them, comb perforated 14. The stamps measure 43 × 29 mm and were printed in panes of fifty. Each stamp is headed 14th WORLD JAMBOREE - NORWAY 1975, carries the Nordjamb 75 mountain mark at upper left, and is inscribed GRENADA.

The ½ cent, lettered Health and Environment / Wild-life study, shows a Scout watching a squirrel on a branch beside a lake. The 1 cent, Adventure Training — Seamanship, shows three Scouts in a sailing boat. The 2 cent, Survival — Map reading and location, shows two Scouts with an unfolded map. The 35 cent, Survival - First aid, shows one Scout bandaging another. The 40 cent, Health and Environment - Physical training, shows two figures stretching on mats. The 75 cent, Adventure Training - Mountaineering, shows two figures resting on a rocky ledge with a coiled rope. The 2 dollar, Entertaining - Sing-song, shows Scouts with a guitar and an accordion.

The souvenir sheet, 106 × 80 mm, sets a 1 dollar stamp in a fjord landscape with a yellow autumn tree. The stamp is lettered Survival— Emergency boat building and shows three Scouts building a boat of logs at the water's edge. The same 1 dollar design is also listed as a single stamp; it is not catalogued separately here.
