Series history
Iran issued a 2 rial commemorative at Tehran on 16 July 1975 for the Second National Iranian Girl Scouts' Camp. A white three-finger salute fills the right of the field; a gold Girl Scout emblem sits on the wrist. Behind it a camp of coloured tents spreads across green and tan hills under a pale sky. The stamp is lettered SECOND NATIONAL IRANIAN GIRL SCOUTS' CAMP TEHRAN JULY 1975 along a purple foot band, with IRAN and 2 R. at lower right and left, Persian inscriptions at the head (including Tehran and Tir 1354) and پست ایران at lower left.
The Government Press lithographed it in panes of fifty on paper watermarked with a Persian inscription and the coat of arms in a circle, line perforated 10½. Sources give no designer and no quantity.
