Series history
The Republic of Korea issued five 10-won commemoratives at Seoul on 29 July 1975 for the 14th World Scout Jamboree, Nordjamb 75, in Norway. They were designed by Keun Moon Lee and printed in photogravure by the Government Printing Agency, 26 × 37 mm, comb perforated 13 × 13¼, in panes of 50 (ten by five, se-tenant). Each value was printed in 3,000,000 copies.
Every stamp is framed in olive green and inscribed REPUBLIC OF KOREA 1975, with the Taegeuk and 대한민국 우표 at the top and 제14회 세계잼버리기념 below the English line. A World Scout emblem sits in the upper left of the white panel. The five designs, issued se-tenant, show a red neckerchief over a blue mountain outline; a three-finger salute crossed by an ice axe; two tents before a blue mountain; an axe, pine and rope; and a camp-fire.
