Series history
Mahra State in South Arabia issued four stamps on 1 September 1967 for the 12th World Scout Jamboree held in Idaho, U.S.A. The set was printed by photogravure and released both comb perforated 11½ × 12½ and imperforate. Designer and printer are not established. The postal status of the issue is disputed.
The designs are a Scout lily over a map of North America (15 f); a Scout bugler before tents (75 f); two Scouts in the countryside (100 f); and the faces of four Scouts of diverse origins (150 f). The stamps are inscribed MAHRA STATE SOUTH ARABIA and WORLD JAMBOREE 1967 IDAHO USA.
