Series history
Ajman issued twenty stamps on 14 May 1971 for the 13th World Scout Jamboree at Asagiri Heights, Japan. Each ordinary value shows a uniformed Scout of a European association with that association's flag; the four airmails show Scouts of Great Britain, the Netherlands, France and Germany. Lithography, comb perforated 14½. 20,000 perforated sets and 5,000 imperforate. The sixteen postage values were issued se-tenant in panes of sixteen and the four airmails se-tenant in panes of four. Deluxe sheets with simulated perforations place a single stamp on a purple margin inscribed 3 riyals, beside a camp fire. A 10 riyal airmail souvenir sheet shows European Scouts around a camp fire. Postal standing is unsettled.
