Gold-brown Scout fleur-de-lis with a star and olive branch in each side petal, above a scroll lettered ΕΣΟ ΕΤΟΙΜΟΣ. Dated 1913 / 1973 at upper left. Inscribed CYPRUS, KIBRIS, ΚΥΠΡΟΣ and 10 M.

Series history

Cyprus issued a 10 mil commemorative on 24 September 1973 for the 60th anniversary of Scouting in Cyprus (1913–1973). Aspioti-Elka Graphic Arts printed it by offset lithography, comb perforated 13½ × 14, about 25 × 38 mm, in panes of 100. The print run was 787,378. Sources give no designer.

A gold-brown Scout fleur-de-lis carries a star and olive branch in each side petal, above a scroll lettered ΕΣΟ ΕΤΟΙΜΟΣ. The stamp is dated 1913 / 1973 and inscribed CYPRUS, KIBRIS, ΚΥΠΡΟΣ and 10 M.
