Series history
On 13 June 1977 the Antigua commemoratives for the 6th Caribbean Scout Jamboree were issued overprinted BARBUDA in black. Each stamp still reads ANTIGUA and Caribbean Boy Scout Jamboree Jamaica 1977. Opinion differs on whether the overprints were a postal issue.
The designs and production are those of the Antigua set: Waddington Studios; House of Questa; offset lithography; comb perforated 14; 43 × 29 mm.
The seven values are the half-cent Settling into camp through the 2 dollar Rafting. The souvenir sheet, 127 × 114 mm, reprints the 30 cent, 50 cent and 2 dollar with BARBUDA on each stamp; the margin still names ANTIGUA and Boy Scouts of the First, Second and Third Antigua.
