Series history

Thailand issued a single commemorative on 21 November 1977 for the 9th National Scout Jamboree. The stamp is landscape, 48 × 30 mm, inscribed 9th NATIONAL JAMBOREE, 1977, THAILAND, with ประเทศไทย and THAILAND at the foot and 75 สต. ST. POSTAGE at the lower right.

Prance Nimsamur designed the stamp. Joh. Enschedé printed it by photogravure, comb perforated 11 × 13, in panes of 50, on paper watermarked with a multiple JEZ, upright. The quantity is 2,000,000.
